This is our story, born out of years of searching, struggling, and asking difficult questions. I loved Jesus deeply and wanted nothing more than to follow Him faithfully, yet somewhere along the way, that simple love became buried beneath striving, fear, guilt, and the constant feeling that I was never doing enough. The harder I tried, the more exhausted and empty I became.
For years, I believed the answer was simply to try harder and hold on tighter. I was afraid that questioning what I had been taught meant walking away from God Himself. But deep inside, I knew something was missing. I longed for the joy, freedom, and love I once knew when I first believed.
It was only through a long journey of unlearning and rediscovering the truth of Jesus’ finished work at the Cross that everything changed. When I finally understood His grace and the depth of His love, I found what I had been searching for all along—rest for my soul, peace, freedom, and the assurance that I am deeply loved by God. My hope is that as I share this journey, you too might discover that His burden truly is light and that there is hope, healing, and freedom in Him.
